Due to limited access of the SWGC website, we will be sunsetting this site. All new posts will be made on the SWGC Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552190145570) or in the SWGC Group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/106635642542642/). On the SWGC page you can find weekly play results, information about upcoming SWGC events, our most up to date calendar, player of the year points, and more. In the group, group members can post updates and pictures from SWGC related activities.

SWGC Schedule of Events for 2023 – 2024

Community Outreach SWGC Board Member: We have an open position on the SWGC board! Who would like to be our new Community Outreach board member??? This position would be responsible for choosing our charity, work with the charity collecting items and such

Social Event Planning: Volunteer to help with any of our amazing social events like La Con, Christmas Party and more. A great way to make friends and give back a little to SWGC.

If you would like to host a home on the cart crawl, contact Debbie Sapp at 480-797-6650 to go over details and such.

Welcome back to the SWGC season! We had a great season last year and this season promises to be even better. The schedule of events has been posted on the site and can be found through the button below.

Some changes to note for this year:

• Play Day Buy-In Increase 2023-2024: In an effort to continue to deliver the fun, high quality SWGC social events and sponserships, the Weekly Wednesday Play Day and Monthly Saturday Play Day buy-in will be increased by $2.  The $12 buy-in will be applied to your monthly club bill with $4 from each buy-in credited to the SWGC Club Account and $8 from each buy-in awarded to all winners as a club credit.
• Cancellations: No-show/One day prior/Day of cancellations will be charged $12.

SWGC has released the May schedule for Summer Games.

Cost is $5 (IN CASH) for each golfer every Wednesday and Saturday during the summer.

*Wednesday	May 17	Best 9	Your best front or back will be your score.
*Saturday	May 20	Best 9	Your best front or back will be your score.
Wednesday	May 24	I’ll have what she’s having.	Each group can play from the longest drive on Par 5 holes and the Closest the Pin on Par 3 holes.
Saturday	May 27	I’ll have what she’s having.	Each group can play from the longest drive on Par 5 holes and the Closest the Pin on Par 3 holes.
*Wednesday	May 31	Friends in Low Places	Each player will play their own ball, but only the best NET score for your group will count.
*Saturday	June 3	Friends in Low Places	Each player will play their own ball, but only the best NET score for your group will count.

La Con is right around the corner and we are still looking for basket donations. The cash gathered from the basket raffle goes straight to SWGC and helps to fund our great events. Donate one on your own or partner with a friend. No need to be participating in the event to donate or purchase raffle tickets.
